New SSD for OS in HTPC

I have sold on on my Intel X25-V 40GB & have been looking at either the 60GB OCZ Vertex 2E or the Crucial 300 64GB. I am running an i5 2500 on a Gigabyte GA-H67MA-D2H-B3 which has 6Gb/s. So struggling to decide whether its better to go for the ocz for its read & write speeds or the crucial for the 6Gb/s interface.

    I have a 2TB WD for storage & archiving

    Any thoughts?

    Running Win 7 x64 sp1

    c300

Once the Sandforce GC map kicks in, you get nothing close to the advertised speeds. Check out OCZs forums for people talking about this.
The c300 is the more consistent of the two (have used both!)

Went for the c300 from Amazon. So signed up for the Credit Card to get the Voucher in my basket then changed payment method to my exiting one. Getting it on Monday courtesy of another free trial of Amazon Prime
