    Re: SSD time

i know in your OP you said your max budget was £180, but your mobo supports SATA3, so it would be ashame not to use SSD speeds to its max potential.

    I would recommend this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120gb...-write-500mb-s

unfortunately it is £58 over your budget.

    hope i helped

    Re: SSD time

That's only 2.5" though, and if I understood correctly, the 3.5" adapter can't be used and therefore he needs a 3.5" SSD.

could always try not mounting the SSD, and just leaving it somewhere stable on a small flat bit somewhere in the case?

It used SATA revision 3 which supports 6 Gbit/s.

The ASUS P6T Deluxe only has SATA II ports.

    Re: SSD time

Go to the Command prompt and type > fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify

DisableDeleteNotify = 1 (Windows TRIM commands are disabled)
DisableDeleteNotify = 0 (Windows TRIM commands are enabled)
