The 4K QD32 writes and reads on your SSD are 10 times better!! The technology has certainly moved on in only two years.

Still,the improvement over a hard disk is amazing.

It also means I need to budget more for my next build too!!

I must have got lucky

Although everytime I turn ont he computer and windows laods I can do stuff for about 1 minute then the computer freezes completely for one minute.

After that its ok and back to normal. No idea what is causing it and its really annoying. The whole point of an SSD is fast boot times etc but if I get into windows ins econds then it compeltely freezes for a minute then thats not so good . . .

Nope, it's cool without. Glad it's working fine, I will never go back to a HDD as my boot drive, they are just so slow. An SSD is possibly the best upgrade I've had in a long time, also what type of overclock are you getting on your 2500k?

Reason being, I havent seen a thing slow down yet that would need me to overclock it lol

I'm interested to see what that Asus board can do. I may change my board (MSI P67-GD65) as it adds 0.016 to your Vcore on top of what you set it in the UEFI (BIOS), then it further adds 0.030 when under 100% load, thus making it really annoying finding the sweet spot.

Set the Vcore too low and BSOD, though having it too high means higher temps

I'm seeing 1.35/1.40 as the max safe temps, I don't know myself which it true, also have you updated your firmware on your SSD?

Actually there is no new firmware, weird i thought they would have released one by now?
