Check SSD Integrity

What's the best way of checking that your SSD is working properly? I normally use HDTune for standard disks and have no problems with it, but will it correctly pick up problems with an SSD?

Over the last couple of weeks on reboot I've had an extensive disk check and a good hundred errors picked up on and fixed by Windows, so I have a feeling something's up but not sure how to test it.

Any ideas would be appreciated

AS-SSD or Atto maybe? or Maybe Crystal disk info or the SSD's own manufacturers software?
