dude that's a can of worms - performance leader for what?

write times?
read times?
boot times?
gaming?
stability?
durability?
economy?

Different drives tick different boxes. No doubt the current leader is an enterprise grade SLC NAND drive costing a small fortune. But most of us mere mortals will never be able to justify buying one of those. Hence the thread - muchos reviews to help the consumer make an informed purchase.

Why not create a few categories then? Eg Price vs. Performance, desktop, enterprise, fastest boot, lowest failure rate etc. It's easy to find reasons not to do something, my colleagues have it down to a fine art.
