Exclamation Which SSD for Me? Please help!

I'm building my first PC and would like to know,

what 120 GB SSD is the best on the market today?

I was thinking about Kingston Hyper X 120GB but after reading Hexus' review on the 240GB model saying the 120GB's performance is not as good, I'm not so sure now!

    Any ideas welcome, thanks.

The Kingston looks quite decent TBH:

Compared to the Vertex 3 it has more consistent performance and AFAIK Kingston tends to have less reported issues too.

    However,for arond £188 you can get a 180GB OCZ Vertex 2:

It might be slower in benchmarks but will still be much quicker than a hard disk, will be relatively free of bugs and has more available storage too.

If you never had an SSD before even an older model will be very impressive for you. You could take advantage of the Crucial special offer on a 128GB C300.

The larger capacity SSD's do have better read and write speeds but, They also cost alot more. The sweet spot for price and performance seems to be around the 120GB size.
