Re: Crucial M4 firmware update released

I bought this SSD and it came with 0009 firmware, and as there has not been any negative feedback etc on the new 0309 firmware i decided to update mine, but this proved to be more difficult than i expected.

After many attempts, and getting stuck at a Dos prompt saying "Searching for Drives" i managed to get it updated by removing all my HDD and keeping only my SSD in the 1st sata port, and in the Uefi bios setting IDE mode in all the sata setting.

As for performance the drive appears to be exactly the same as the 0009 FirmWare version.
