    Which SSD? Early 2011 MBP

I've got an early 2011 13" Macbook Pro and want to get an SSD for it. I'm looking at the 128gb ones, but which should I go for? The most likely options are the Crucial M4 and OCZ Vertex 3 at the minute. The Vertex is faster, but the M4 is apparently more reliable?

Has anyone on here made the upgrade and have any advice? Cheers

The OCZ Vertex 3 may very well be faster on paper, but in real life situations, the M4 is faster, and more reliable.

Everyone recommends the M4, so I'd say to go for that.

Although, personally, I'd recommend the Corsair Force GT, it's an amazing SSD with great performance, but I do believe that the only reason I recommend that over an M4 is because I've never seen an M4 in action.

MBPs can be a tad picky about SSDs so I would be careful what you buy.

Cheers guys. I did a bit more research and went for the M4 in the end. Got it for £119.99 from Amazon! Just waiting on my optibay to arrive now, then I can install it

If you would prefer reliability over slight speed differences then go for the M4.
