OCZ 240GB Revo Drive 3 x2 SSD - Solid State Drive

hi all this is my first post here so be gentle i'm looking for advice i currently have a crucial c300 128gb and really like the idea of a OCZ 240GB Revo Drive 3 x2 SSD but i have been trawling the net to no avial as i cannot find an answer to whether they are stable in a p6x58d premium motherboard that has a marvell controller { i know this has nothing to do with a revo drive } but seems outdated as most drives marvell controlled don't have that much of a boost to my current drive

have any of you had any experience with this drive ? or have any advice regarding compatibility ?

You should probably post this in a general area at Hexus or speak with OCZ. This section is for the support of Corsair products.

As a general answer to your question, I would advise against using the Marvell controller for an SSD and definitely not in RAID-0. Use the ICH10-R on that board. It is SATA2/3GB but it is a much better option than the Marvell.

I fitted a pair of these on a x79 chipset amazing performance booted in about 4 seconds check out the OCZ forums there is a dedicated thread on suitable motherboards for the revodrives
