Can not update my OCZ Vortex 4 Firmware for love or money PLEASE HELP!

Hi All

Hoping some one can show me what im doing wrong or what needs doing to get this sodding firmware update on as been playing around with for almost 4 hours

I have set in BIOS to AHCI, Picks up the drive in windows 7 and in the OCZ Toolbox.

I click on tools and select update firmware which it then downloads from the net and pops up "Firmware download successful, shutdown and restart computer to complete firmware update"

So i shutdown, this then takes 5 minutes for PC to shutdown.... then i turn PC back on and get the POST screen and it just boots back into windows

Can any one help please?

So presumably it doesn't change the version when it reboots? What does the toolbox version show?

Found that i had to reinstall window once change to AHCI as windows kept BSOD. Once i did this i could then change BIOS storage settings to enhanced which allowed it to stay as AHCI as before when i selected compatible i did not notice it changed it back to IDE, thats why it was not applying the firmware update on restart. Just shows that should not work on PC late at night when needing sleep as so easy to miss things under your nose. (or im just a nub)

Yep. Just used this on my Vertex 2. Easy as...
