    OCZ Solid 3 any good?

I'm looking at purchasing an OCZ Solid 3 SSD but wondering if anyone here can share their experiences. I have a few SSD's already but the low price of the OCZ Solid 3 is appealing for use in my laptop.

Well the benchmarks seem OK compared to the obvious competition, an agility 3.

I went for the Agility 3 as a laptop drive because I could get one at 240GB, and bigger SSD drives are usually faster.

Was a bit painful in terms of cost, but 120GB was marginal for us and the thought of deciding 6 months down the line that we had gotten one too small seemed too much of a risk. I know 100% that 240GB is enough storage for that machine.

In reality we won't see the extra speed because the laptop is too old and only has 3Gbps sata, so a faster & more expensive drive would have been a waste.
