The contenders:
Sandisk Extreme

OCZ Agility 3

OCZ Vertex 3

Corsair Force Series 3 Series

Crucial RealSSD M4

I will be using it for video rendering, Photoshop, etc. so I will be using it to its full potential and therefore I'm looking to balance performance and cost.
I know you guys are absolute geniuses when it comes to these kind of situations, looking at stuff that is way over my head like 'toggle NAND' and 'MAX IOPS'!
I hope this will help out other people in the same situation.
Thanks!

The blue screens stopped when I finally managed to badger a firmware update onto it?
From the drives you list, the Sandisk is best, no question. Toggle mode NAND is good NAND.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
Samsung 830 128GB - £74.19 from Amazon.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
I am looking at one myself, the Sandisk extreme gets my vote so far.

Go for the Samsung, basic kit- you don't need all the stuff that comes with the others- you can buy sata cables individually cheaper, etc.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
Samsung and Sandisk a close second. Either way your choice, I only have a Kingston 128gb SDDNow 200, which so far doing well. Had it for £50, lol.

Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
Crucial m4 is about £77 and samsung 830 is about £80, you cant go wrong with either, very reliable and speedy too.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
Samsung/Crucial M4 get my votes, far more reliable than the others.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
I've ordered the Samsung 830 128GB for £68.39 from Novatech. There should be a few more sales now that the 840 is out.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
£68 for Samsung 830 is a right deal how did you find that also i would say 830 just because all the reviews i have read it may be £7 over budget but it seems to be worth it.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
I use a Kingston HyperX 120gb, I don't really know if it is the best but I have had 0 problems with it.
Re: Best 120/128GB SSD for around £70
I would also agree with the majority and say crucial m4 and samsung 830 they are really highly reccomended.
