    Re: Pioneer BDR-208DBK

it's brand new and seems to replace the 207 model which i recently got as the prices dropped, obviously in response to the new one coming out. the new one is a bit faster. it depends if you prefer speed or want a cheaper price. i got the 207 for about £55 inc delivery from scan in a today only deal. you might get a similar deal again, so it depends if you want to save £10 or want the faster speed. if i was going to burn a lot of discs then the £10 is probably worth it, but since the first week i haven't burned any blurays with it. it's not an option i need to use a lot. my cd burning is very rare and even dvd burning isn't often now. most of the drives i've had over the years have been pioneer and i've been happy with them, thus getting a pioneer bluray
