    Anyway to repair a SSD?

    Hi,

I have a samsung SSD. It is only a 64gb I used for my OS. Anyhow when installing a new PSU the motherboard cable crushed against the SSD and snapped the Sata port off. The pins are all bent as well.

Am just wondering if these things are repairable or should I just bin it?

    Photo?

Bend the pins back and use "tape" to keep the cable connected.

Depends how bad the damage is. If there is data on there that you want to get off then you might be able to solder a SATA cable direct to the drive. Even if that worked, I don't think I would trust the drive in the long term but it might allow you to back up the contents.

No data on there really just windows which I have reinstalled on another hard drive. I might just bin it and buy a new one. Thanks for the comments.
