sata 2 speeds

i am running a sata 3 ssd in a sata 2 port and i only getting about 110 in speed is this about correct

Read speed or write speed?
Depends what kind of SSD it is (size, age, generation, category).
Some 64GB/128GB of one/two generations behind would produce that kind of speeds. Until there is more information, we can hardly help you.

But 110 in speed (whatever that speed stands for, be that MBps, AS SSD score, etc) would not much change in a SATA3 port. If you switch from your current SATA2 port.

dw i found out that my ocz ssd had a issue where i need to tell it what sort of sata slot it is in
