What to do with a broken SSD?

My OCZ Onyx disappeared from the face of My Computer only days ago... it all seems so early, and yet too late for OCZ who offer only a 2 year warranty. I performed immediate and highly invasive surgery, but it was too late.

Now, I find myself asking, what on earth will I do with it?

The current offerings I've been provided with are

    Scary children's toy:

    Modern art necklace:

    Any suggestions?

I have access to the following tools:

    Screwdriver
    Hammer
    5th storey window

Hmm. I can test the frisbee theory with the 5th storey window device, although I fear it may not last too long.

I like the mug mat, that's a cool idea. Not quite sure how I would make it happen with my complete lack of engineering ability, but it definitely sounds plausible.

You could turn the Indilinx chip into a keyring. Like KFA2 did with their own supply of GPU chips.

put it back together and get it replaced - . sale of goods act is a 6 year expected lifetime not 2 years.

What if you tried that 'baking' myth which someone did with a GPU? Toss it in the oven and let 'er rip.

Re: What to do with a broken SSD?

Didn't think you could get that on Amazon (no idea why, you can get anything on Amazon these days). This might come in useful in the future, I'm sure I can come up with some similar projects to those suggested
