    Price check: 8 port SATA card

    Hi All,
    I've got a SuperMicro SAT2-MV8 8 port SATA card on my desk which was retired from a storage array. Is this thing worth anything? I guess it's a pretty specialist card. Comes with high and low profile backing plates.

    Sorry mate aint worth too much - software RAID only, it's basically just a JBOD adaptor to allow you to plug loads of disks in. Useful if your going to use ZFS or something to handle the software raid.
