Which self-encrypting SSD?
Can anyone recommend one? I know the Samsung 840 EVO seems to be good and that Samsung are finally fixing an issue with them.
I'd just rather know my data is secure. I'd run BitLocker but that's not on Win 7 Pro as far as I'm aware?
Running Win 7 Pro btw.
Many thanks :)
Re: Which self-encrypting SSD?
The Sandisk X300 gets a pretty good review here, although it's a bit expensive compared to the Intel SSD 2500 Pro, apparently.

The Intel review is here:

Edit!

If you need basic encryption support, the Crucial MX100 range supports AES 256-bit, TCG Opal 2.0 & IEEE-1667, which should work with Bitlocker, and in Windows 8x, Microsoft eDrive.
Re: Which self-encrypting SSD?
Cheers! I'm on Win 7 Pro so BitLocker is a no-go.
I also found the Samsung 850 Pro on Anandtech so I'll see what I can afford.
Thanks again :)
