    Crucial Momentum Cache On SSDs

Just a heads up to people for those that don't know Crucial/Micron have released their new Momentum Cache option for SSDs, its a tad similar to using a Ramdisk in that it stores data in the Ram then moves it to the SSD when required, as with any data in the Ram its volatile so a power cut or blue screen could cause issues.

    Supported SSDs Supported Operating Systems
    Micron Crucial by Micron • Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit)
    • M500 • MX100 • Windows 8 (32-bit, 64-bit)
    • M510 • MX200 • Windows 8.1 (32-bit, 64-bit)
    • M550 • BX100
    • M600 • M500
    • M500DC • M550
    • M510DC
    • P400M

A quick benchmark increased my AS SSD score from 930 to over 4000 lol, obviously practical mileage may vary.

Yes, but Samsung have a similar thing called RAPID mode, as part of their Samsung Magician software.

The review I read on it suggested it is meh.... More of a look at my awesome benchmark results than my PC feels noticeably faster.
