Cheap portable hard drive recommends

Hi I need to get a cheap portable hard drive to plug into the new tv for recordings ( this will let me ditch the sat box) so nothing fancy as it will just be used for recordings, so any help on what to go for ?

Looks as good as anything.

You may have to reformat it depending on your TVs operating system, but the TV will take care of that.

(Or if you have an old drive hanging around, get an external housing for it and use that.)

The Samsung M3 uses a Seagate HDD. I have the 1tb version and have had no problems in the past 3 years with it.
