Sandisk SSD Plus 240gb or Samsung Evo 750 250gb?

I managed to pick up a Sandisk SSD Plus 240gb and Samsung Evo 750 250gb in the prime deal.

The SSD plus is the newer G26 version and was £40
    The Evo 750 was £50

Is the evo 750 worth the extra? I am quite a light user, really just used for web browsing, music and the odd video. However if the 750 is snappier and quicker to boot...it may be worth it.

From a quick Google it seems the Sandisk is faster at writing and the Samsung faster at reading. So for boot, the Samsung is likely to be faster.

Thanks, I have seen some really contradictory information online.

    e.g.

EVO750 is rated very highly here at tweaktown (sorry can't post a link as I have less than 5 posts)
Sandisk SSD Plus - Rated really poorly by the same site

However other websites seem to rate the Sandisk very simarly to the 750 e.g. at ssd.userbenchmark .com

They both seem a bit of a mixed bag, so not sure the Sandisk is worth the extra ££

Since you're light user either SSD will be insanely faster compared to the hdd. I don't think that there would be a difference in real-world performance between the two. I'd just go with the cheaper one.
