X370 ASUS Prime A & Samsung 960 EVO

Sorry this might be a stupid question but im a little confused.

Will the Samsung 960EVO NVMe work with the ASUS Prime X370 for Ryzen. The board states 32Gb/s M.2 x4 dual mode.
