HI All,
I have got a WD red 3 TB drive in an enclosure. I have initialized (GPT) and formatted the drive however it only shows as 746.52 GB. Using windows 10. Any advice on how to get it to show the correct capacity?

run the Data Lifeguard diagnostic. There's a chance your disk is on it's last legs.
Its a brand new drive
Have you tried checking if there is any unallocated space? you can use Disk Management in Windows to check.

Another vote on using Disk Management. It will show you the number of partitions and unallocated space.

greshoff has initialiased the disk, this should have wiped out all partitions.
@greshoff - are you by any chance running an old version of Intel RST drivers? https://www.servethehome.com/fix-746...d-drive-issue/
Interested to see what the solution to this one is as someone at work was talking about having the same issue just this week.
