ive heard the nvme is much quicker than sata.. asking incase anyone has experienced this
m.2 is (just) the form factor. nVME is a bus interface, like SATA.
m.2 SSDs come in nVME and SATA flavours. The SATA flavour is restricted to the bandwidth of SATA III (6Gbp/s). nVME plugs directly into the PCIe bus and is not so restricted. In real World use I have seen nVME perform around 2x the speed of SATA III.
