I'm looking to get a M.2 drive and saw this, wondering if there's a catch to the price (currently £99 on amazon), or any better one out there that people here know of?

They're both good drivers. The Corsair has one of the highest endurance ratings of any 1TB at 1,700 ish TBW, which is nearly 3 times the Adata or Samsung EVO (but only 1.5 times the Pro, but the Samsung 970 Pro is over twice the price).

As above, both excellent drives. They have slightly different performance characteristics so if you're really into the small details have a look at a thorough review like at anandtech. If I had to sum it up I'd say the adata might be a little bit quicker at bursty/random, while the corsair is a lot better when full. I would personally take the latter of the two (though I ended up getting a samsung recently because I already had another samsung SSD and only wanted one software).

Thanks for the link and other alternatives. The power consumption on the adata looks too good to be true. From first glance the two alternatives are not worth paying extra, but that's just looking at that page. Personally I'm leaning going for Corsair.

Most SSDs come with management software that allows you to check/apply firmware, monitor health, set over-provisioning. enable caching etc. (and trim, but that's natively supported by windows 10 now). It's not a massive problem, but I'd rather only have one software running in the background to cover several SSDs than have to have a samsung and a corsair/crucial/adata one both running.
