Hello,
I've recently upgraded my rig and finally moved away from all magnetic drives (the PC was 10 years old!). I've got a Samsung NVMe 1tb 970 drive which I've used to install some of the games I've intended to play regularly. However I also want to do some video/photo editing which are currently stored on my NAS.
The work flow would be to transfer them to the PC, do my work then move them back. One concern I have is how much transfering of files I'll be doing to the NVMe drive and was wondering if installing a second drive would be better? I could also then install games I don't play that regularly.
How do people run their storage these days when they have a high transfer work load?
