Hi,
I am looking to buy a Thecus 5200.
I am wondering if i can install a torrent client on the server? so that when i turn off my main PC the Thecus will still act as a torrent client.
Thanks for your help.

Dear Rick,
The N5200 have no the BT fucntion in download manager item, current Thecus N1200 & N4100+ support the download manager function only.
Yvon.
Hi,
How configurable is the BT function in 'download manager' in the N4100+? Can i keep a file for seeding after completion based on ratio or only a specified number of hours? If only an amount of hours, what is the maximum value you can set?
How many simultaneous BT sessions can be active (eg 3 download with 7 seeding is possible?)
Filip
Are you thinking about adding the feature?
You can put a regular linux distro on the n5200. There are a pair of web pages on doing that with Debian. I'm going to try it with Gentoo shortly.
... I don't want to mess up what it's already doing I'd prefer to add it on...
May be You want to try the MLdonkey module for the N5200:

I've personally have not tested it, but others do use it
