    Question reboot fails

    Hi

If I try to reboot my N5200 from the Admin GUI or via SSH CLI, it always ends up in an undefined state with no access at all. I can't even ping the box anymore.

Only power-down / power-up at the box restores operation.

Does anyone know of similar issues and is there a known way on how to put it right?

I'm using FW 1.00.10 (was the same with 1.00.08), 4 * WD 500GB, Raid 5, no AD integration

    Thanks for your help

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I shut the unit down, remove all HD and then boot up, load factory defaults and test rebooting the unit from the Web GUI, afterwards we will know if it is software related or not.

Having done this I then reinsert all the disks and power-up the unit, will there everything be the same afterwards or do I loose configuration / data due to the "load factory defaults" step? I don't have enough backup space to run a full backup form the N5200.

    Thanks for your answer.

I have the same problem but with a 4100.
Where is the answer on this valid remark?
When you put the disks on the same position (even with an other, but same Thecus Model), do I use the data/configutation or not ?!
