    Wish: JBOD on N2050

I am interested if this is even a possibilty in a future firmware, or if there is even much interest.
This would allow the use of dis-similiar drives, from say old systems

    Setup RAID5 on THECUS 4100+

Building RAID 5 on Thecus 4100+:
Tip: Be sure to logout the Box while it is building the RAID otherwise the process will be very very very slow....

    Dear Sir,

The N2050 is hardware RAID, thus would be hard to add new function by firmware update.

    Hi there!

You could use the SteelVineManager from Silicon Image, because that's the chip inside. But for that Yvon would have to tell us the default password of the 4723-firmware. Without the password you can only review the settings of the steelvine.
