    Target USB Question

hey guys, need help understanding this as i would like to use this feature but want to fully understand it before using.

manual says: "WARNING: When RAID is removed or damaged, all the data on Target USB will be deleted."

Removing RAID is obvious, but what about Damaged RAID? if say: of my disks fails in RAID 5, and i replace with a new disk, will all data on Target USB be deleted? i'm guessing data on Target USB is still good but if that's the case, how exactly could a RAID become damaged then? just want to be careful before using this.

    Re: Target USB Question

    Dear Sir,

The Target USB volume is a part of RAID volume, as like we move this RAID volume for USB using, also this included with the RAID volume & protect.
If the RAID damaged, it is depend on the number of disk damaged, if we have 5 HDD for RAID5, which means we could allow 1 HDD damaged, and data still ok.

    Yvon.
