Beta report: chmod runs forever

I'm running beta firmware 2.00.02.2.

The problem is that if I try to change a share from public to not public, setfacl runs to completion, then it seems that chmod will run forever. Strace'ing the chmod process shows that it indeed is chmod()ing, but it doesn't stop. It's been running at home now for about 12 hours from the last time I switched this to test.

Is this a known issue, has it been fixed, and in what version?

P.S. has anyone thought of adding iostat/other procps tools to the build either as tools or by default? This is needed for some of the other wishlist module items like tracking i/o ops. Sar data is almost required for good historical modeling of the unit.

This is due to Thecus using a broken and buggy BusyBox version.
I've reported this to Thecus about 10 month ago but they are not fxing this.

You're exactly right. It looks like the same thing. I was doubtful at first, because setfacl ran to completion, but sure enough setfacl is a stand-alone binary and chmod is busybox.

This is disgusting. Somebody from Thecus, please give us an offical response with when this will be fixed. This is a minor code change that causes a system to become slower and slower each time, and causes very bad behavior for users when trying to configure a share.

Also the busybox should be updated to at least version 1.6 ...
