    Exclamation Blue screen error

I have just successfully upgraded the my Thecus N2200 to new firmware 3.00.07E end of November.

Reboot ok. Access folders and files from the Windows Explorer is ok.

But I can not access the thecus via its web UI usisng its static IP. All I have got is the blue screen with distorted image at the bottom and there is nowhere for me to put in the user name and password.

I have raised this issue with Thecus around 30 of November 2009 and I have not heard anything from them except an email from them saying that "Please note that the ticket will automatically be closed within 48 hours if no response is received from you. The ticket will not be closed in the case that you send another reply".

So I replied but then once again nothing has happened.

    Please help.

I have the same issue. Right after I've upgraded to latest firmware. Did you try to soft reset?.

    Re: Blue screen error

I did the soft reset (pressing a little button at the back of the unit for 15 seconds) but it did not seem to work.

how did you fix it? with soft reset only?????

    Re: Blue screen error

OK I got a solution from another thread.

This problem relates to HTTPS disabled. As soon as you enable it again, everything should work fine.

    Here the link:

    http://forums.hexus.net/thecus-care-...ace-n0204.html

    1. you need to download this files from FTP site:

    ***://***.thecusparts.eu/temp/USB_Default_Patch.zip
    2. Copy them into root on USB stick. Keep the structure intact.
    3. Put USB stick into NAS and press usb copy button. Wait. The NAS will reboot and you will be able to log in again.
    4. Flash the new firmware.
