    Re: n5200 usb storage linux

    Stefan thanks! Yes I am using a USB A to a USB B. I just ran it through the floor into the basement. Yes it meets the length limit.

    So, these normally don't mnt automatically? I see they made a target_usb folder for it.

    I take it that if I wanted to make it automatic I would load the imgdmp mod and edit a mnt line in.

    I'll have my main computer going this weekend and test it out. Got my case tonight and put all the drives in. Tomorrow is a big day for the rest of the parts.

    Re: n5200 usb storage linux

    So, I'm finally getting around at looking at this again. I unplugged the target USB cable, plugged it back in and did a 'dmesg':
    Code:
    g_file_storage gadget: usb_ep_set_halt -> -22
    g_file_storage gadget: high speed config #1
    So, I looked back at what I had here before:

    Code:
    g_file_storage gadget: N5200 USB Storage Gadget, version: 20 October 2004
    g_file_storage gadget: Number of LUNs=1
    g_file_storage gadget-lun0: ro=0, file: /dev/mapper/vg1-lv1
    Is this saying I need to mount /dev/mapper/vg1-lv1?
