Hello there,
I own a N5200 Pro with 5x Seagate 7200.10 500GB attached, arranged in a RAID5-array. Everything works fine, only the upload via FTP is very slow; speed is around 1 MB/s getting slower the larger the file is, down to approximately 770 KB/s. Here's an example
Code:
TYPE I
200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
PORT 192,168,2,100,6,212
200 PORT command successful
STOR 03 Black No. 1.mp3
150 Connecting to port 5001
226-File successfully transferred
226 10.853 seconds (measured here), 0.98 Mbytes per second
Transfer done: 11180500 bytes in 10,860 secs (1029,51 k/sec)
the network consists purely out of GBit-components primarily 3Com an Intel stuff. tested with GBit switch in between, with two 100Mbit sitches, and with Cross-Over-cables directly conneted.
I did encounter this phenomenon on several machines with several FTP-Clients each. Downloads work fine with 20 MB/s up to 45 MB/s depending on filesize and location on disc.
Upload on SMB- and NFS-connections work with no problems at all with up to 30MB/s.
Reseting, flashing the firmware to 2.00.01 again or installing PureFTPD didn't do the trick.
So, anyone having encountered this problem yet who might have a solution for me ?
