I'm trying to to transfer files of over 7.9GB to my N5200. They always seem to stop about half way. I'm running firmware version V2.00.01. Any ideas.. is it down to the formating of the drives or is there anything else that would stop this?

I've also noticed that it seems to work if you re-boot the N5200.. for a while.. is this some sort of memory issue??
if there is no easy answer for this then I am going to have to return the device as most files I want to store are DVD size!!

Dear Sir,
Following suggestion for your reference:
1. Confirm the RAID status is health or does this N5200 create the RAID volume complete, from STORAGE->RAID->CONFIG.
2. Try to via FTP to copy file.
3. Provide 2 CONF.BIN between the N5200 working fine & transmitting stop for support@thecus.com analysis, SYSTEM->CONFIG MGMT->DOWNLOAD.
Yvon.
Yes The RAID is healthy as I can store other smaller files e.g. 4.4GB on there with no problem. FTP is the same, it dies about half way through. The FTP view shows me that only half the file has been uploaded i.e. 3.9GB where as the normal view just shows it at 7.9GB. However when you try the view the file i.e. a movie ISO file it will stop half way through indicating that only half of it is there.
How do I send the CONF.BIN?
by mail to support@thecus.com
OK maybe not how do i send the file but how do I get hold of the CONF.BIN file from the N5200
CONF.BIN files have been sent to Support. When can I expect an Update?
Looks like the problem has been sorted. Apparently if you use Static IP instead of DHCP it works!! I've no idea why.. both should work OK just seems that DHCP causes the network to drop every few minutes

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your informaiton about the DCHP setting, if possible please mail this new CONF.BIN for us reference.
Yvon.
I think that is not a problem of DHCP/Static IP. I use DHCP and I can transfer files > 7GB via SMB and FTP without any problems (PC -> N5200Pro -> PC).
FW-Version: 2.00.00.
PC and N5200Pro connected to a Netgear FW/Router with 100MB speed
May be it depends on the DHCP lease time - short lease time=problems, long lease time=no problems
