    What's Maximum Number Of Folders? -n5200-

    G'day All,

    Does anyone know what the maximum number of folders can be created and the top level? I currently have 7 folders I have created and there are also the default one's "nsync", "usbhdd" and, "usbcopy". I tried to create another one but with no success.

    Thecus n5200 running firmware 2.00.01.

    Kind Regards

    Dear Sir,

    N5200 support up to 300 root folders, it is included with preset folder as like USBHDD and etc, if we can't add the root folder from the admin configuration page, please check your RAID health status or mail the CONF.BIN for us to analysis.

    SYSTEM->CONFIG MGMT->DOWNLOAD

    Re: What's Maximum Number Of Folders? -n5200-

    G'day Yvon,

    Worked out what the problem was. I was trying to create a folder called "DVDR". In the "Description" field I was putting "DVDR's". I went and checked the logs. It was reporting "[Quota] Folder [/raid0/data/DVDR] is removed from Quota Management." even though it stated it had successfully created the folder. I tried to create it again, only this time in the "Description" field I put "DVDRs" not "DVDR's". It successfully created the folder no issues this time. Correct me if I am wrong, but I am assuming that the n5200 does not support characters such as apostrophe?

    Kind Regards
