    Power Light Blinking on N2050

    Hi,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what it mean when the power light for Drive 1 is blinking, but the power light for Drive 2 is steady. The drive appears to function fine - except that I often get the XP application "scanregw.exe" crashing (which never happened before I got the drive). When I access the drive the power light for Drive 1 is steady for a short time then goes back to blinking.

The manual does not describe this behaviour for the LEDs, so I'm hoping someone can shed light on it. I'm hoping it's not a sign of something bad to come. My drives are two 500gb Seagates in a RAID 1 configuration. Also, how can I test to ensure both drives are functioning correctly?

    Thanks,
    jaimz

    Dear Sir,

In RAID 1 mode, we could install the HDD into Windows PC, if the HDD is health we could found a new driver letter appear, and than we should access the HDD & DATA, or via the tool from HDD manufactury to checking HDD status.

    Yvon.
