Hi,
To anyone at thecus that can get this fixed or give an idea of when it can be fixed:
I previously had NFS working but having tried to create a second NFS share, I now get
"mount: raid:/raid0/data/Major failed, reason given by server: Permission denied"
have since deleted second NFS share but still have this problem, what can I do to fix this ?
Have read that there is a bug which corrupts (or erases contents of) /etc/exports,
is this correct ?
(If this is a bug) Do these bugs get listed anywhere ?
Is this going to get fixed ?
What do you suggest to fix this as I currently have an expensive samba file server sat on my desk when I had planned to use it as an NFS server ?
Can you provide any new software to fix this ?
If not, I have the idea of copying everything off of my thecus using samba, then erasing the NFS share that is left, and then re creating it and copying the data back - Will this work ?
If not will I need to reinitialise all the drives ?
Any other suggestions ?
I see other people are having this problem, is it in a Queue to be fixed - if so when is a fix likely to be released ?
thanks,
Chris
