SMB Files are automatically Write Protected
Hey guys,
I have just Updated our N5200PRO Firmware: 2 -> 2..0.0.4
After the Upgrade has been completed I have enabled the AD Support und added the NAS into the Domain. Everything just went fine, but now we are experiencing several Issues.
Users are able to open a Office Document without problems. But if they keep it open for a little time, they are unable to save the Document because it is automatically set to "Write Protected" on the filesystem. I am not able to remove the Write Protection, because the File is Owned by the User who has opened it and is now unable to save the Data. The Problems occures randomly but quiet often.
May this problem be associated to the AD or Firmware Upgrade? Any known relevant Issues? Thanks!
Re: SMB Files are automatically Write Protected

Anybody could help?
Greetz,

Re: SMB Files are automatically Write Protected
The problem occurs, when in word, excel or powerpoint the autorecoverinformation are stored every 10 minutes (by default).
Deactivate storage of the autorecoverinformation in the options.
Problem is now solved in our company.
Greetings,
Michael
