    Question What's your backup?

    Hi,

I wanted to do a Poll to see what people are using for backup on their N5200?

    1. NSYNC using NSYNC and to what unit - another N5200 or something else?
    2. NSYNC using FTP and to what unit - FTP server, NAS running FTP Server?
    3. Manual backups - copy to something else - USB HDD, PC, E-Sata?
    4. Automated backups to locally plugged in device - ESata or USBHDD? With what tool?
    5. Automated backups to network - PC, other NAS? With what tool?
    6. No backups?
    7. Other?

Hoping to get lots of responses!

I am currently using Second Copy running on a Windows XP PC doing a daily copy of folders/files (at 2:00am) from the N5200 to a 500GB USB HDD on the Windows PC. Not my preference. So I was hoping to get some great ideas from you.

Really interested to know what other people are doing to backup.

I'm using this only for non-critical data.

    Re: What's your backup?

Currently I use SyncronEX run manually (as and when). This automatically runs a script which backs up my data to another PC over a GigaBit network.

I'm seriously considering a Thecus NAS device however.
