    N5200Pro / iscsi with HBA?

    Hi,

we try the combination N5200Pro and HBA QLOGIC 4052C, but we receive connection errors (PDU format error ox6). Ping is ok, the HBA read the right iqn, it looks good, but ... no active session.

Second test with software initiator under Windows XP and VMWARE ESX is ok (speed unter iscsi ist lower than NFS).

It is possible to connect the N5200Pro with a iscsi HBA?

    Thanks for help,
    regards,
    Uwe

Didn't get an answer? It shouldn't matter if you are using a software initiator or a hardware initiator. The iscsi HBA is basically a gigabit ethernet adapter with onboard scsi offloading. This performs the exact same purpose, except the HBA doesn't use the cpu.
