Re: Thecus N2100 Yes Box & Evesham M-Box differences

Sorry about the thread revival, but it seemed the most appropriate place for this.

I've just bought an Evesham badged N2100, which has come with no set up disc or drivers. I tried Thecus software, but it doesn't see the box. At the minute I can't do a lot with it as I can't log on to it. Is there anywhere I can download the drivers from? or an idiots guide to using it with the thecus software.
I've read the mbox - N2100 guide, but as I can't log on to my box yet, this is of little use.

    RogerB, did you sort yours?

    Thanks.

I just bought one of those few weeks ago and had the same results.
Have you tried the other network port? it was simple as that for me.

Re: Thecus N2100 Yes Box & Evesham M-Box differences

Couldn't logon using default ip's, however solved as follows.

I needed the evesham drivers, rather than the Thecus ones, had a nice word with a chap who copied his for me, then logged in and enabled DHCP. This allowed the web-browser to talk to the mbox. I've now successfully upgraded the firmware to 2.01.09

Now to have a proper play and get the box configured on my network.

    Thanks for the input.
