print server not working right

im running an n2100 and am trying to get the print server to run my HP laserjet 1020...

following the instructions given, i idded the printer as a network printer, chose the printer, and it installed the drivers and set the printer up which now has a nice green tick by it in "my printers" (im running vista home premium 32bit)

only problem being is it doesnt print.
If i tell something to print it gets added to the queue as per normal, but after 30 seconds or so it just disapears from the queue as if its been printed successfully.

is the HP compatible with the n2100 print server, and if it is what am i doing wrong?

I have exactly the same problem With HP Laserjet 1018 connected to an N299

someone can suggest a solution?

Dear Sir,

WE have no the HP Laserjet 1018 to verify for you, but we from other user known the HP Laserjet 1020 can't working with N2100.....
