Unhappy Help! My N299 formated my disks

Hi there. I hope Someone can help me. I used to have a YES Box N2100 with 2 x 500 g... But my case broke... so i bought the N299 cause it's a bit cheaper here. So I placed my 2 HD in to the new Case and the first thing the N299 does is formate the disks..... thoese disks where nearly full with media... can you recomend a tool to recover those files? I would be very happy
    Greetings Dave

If you drives was formatted in raid 1, you just have to mount one of your drive under linux to recover it.
If you are a windows user you can google a driver for XP to use ext2/3 disk on it, that s all !

Your only hope now though is getting those drives into a PC and setting the to drives to raid0. If your spending money, you can try Acronis Disk Director. I had a raid stripe I was able to recover the files off using that.
