Twonkymedia server on the N2100BM
I have the N2100BM which comes bundled with Mediaboloc's media server software. I'd like to give Twonkymedia a try as well, but so far have been unable to get it installed. I don't know if I'm picking up the wrong version of the software, pointing the media manager to the wrong installation file, or what. Two questions: 1) Does Twonkymedia server have any advantage over the software that comes with the N2100BM, and 2) If so, could someone please give me detailed instructions on installing it, including the link to the files I should be using?

To answer your first question, twonkymedia offers a lot a functions (see their website for furthers informations) but its not free...
To install the module :
1 - Download the twonkymedia module (latest is v1.6.00) :
N2100 Module: TWONKYMEDIA - Thecus Wiki
2 - Unpact it to have the TWONKYMEDIA.mod file
3 - Switch off your firewall if you have one
4 - Using the admin page, module management section select the .mod file then install
5 - Click on the activate button.
6 - To configure Twonkymedia, just click on the [Thecus]TWONKYMEDIA link.

This is my problem. When I unpack the downloaded file
"http://onbeat.dk/thecus/downloads/N2100-TWONKYMEDIA-1.6.00.tar.gz"
and unpack it, I can't find the TWONKYMEDIA.mod file. Tried spotlight and it can't find it either. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Re: Twonkymedia server on the N2100BM
What kind of file did you have ?
If you re a windows user you can use 7-zip (free tool) to uncompress the file.

Problem solved! I was unpacking 'N2100-Twonkymedia-1.6.00.tar.gz' with the default application 'Archive Utility' This resulted in a folder named 'Twonkymedia'. In that folder were 40+ files. If, however, I use 'Stuffit Expander', I get a file named ''N2100-Twonkymedia-1.6.00.tar'. Unpack that with Stuffit Expander and I get the desired 'Twonkymedia.mod'. Live and learn...
Re: Twonkymedia server on the N2100BM
Thats because the .mod files are packed files with a non standard extention and some unpackers unpack everything they find within an archive.

I've installed the twonkymusic module, but it can not find my music.
My music is stored on the N2100 in the iTunes folder.
