N5200-PRO as PDC ?

Hi,

I would like to use the N5200-PRO as PDC.
My Opinion is that the Usage as PDC is needed to realize "roaming Profiles"
under Windows-XP.
Is there any way to use the N5200-PRO as PDC or to realize "roaming Profiles"
without an extra Server ?

To use a linux box as pdc you have to configure samba to act as a pdc. Search words in google: samba pdc.

Under Samba als PDC [Short-HOWTO] - Unixboard.de you will find a description written in german.

thanks for your response.

I'm allready use an ubuntu-Server as Samba-PDC.
But I would like to use the N5200.
So I can save one Computer, Power and so on ...

So the Issue is NOT to set up a Device as PDC, it's how to
set up the this NAS as a PDC ( if possible )
