    USB Drives in a N7700

    Hi

    I have 2 Lacie USB 1TB drives.

I'd like to attach them to the back USB ports.

The manual implies it will autocopy drives attached to the FRONT USB connections.

    So questions:
If I plug them in, can they not copy? I'd like to use the storage on them. Copy things TO the usb drive to take with me on a trip.

Is that possible? Is it rue they will auto copy front usb drives?

The manual is a bit weak on the whole usb disk thing.

Also, I have a lacie 2tb usb disk. With the Thecus 'blow up' if I plug it into a back usb port?

Re: USB Drives in a N7700

    Dear Sir,

Since we plug an USB storage device, system would mount this USB under USBHDD folder, and we would access to USB data from this folder. (NTFS read only, FAT read & right)
The front panel USB copy function would copy the front USB data into USBCOPY folder, but we can't move data.
If we need copy data onto USB storage, we could via network sharing folder to copy, or direct attach this USB driver on your PC and copy data from NAS directly.
