problems with 5200pro - single disk hot plug jbod

We have to set up the 5200b Pro for a customer as Backup device as replacement for the existing Tape Robot.
The idea was to use a 4-disk Raid 5 as permanent backup device and to use the 5th disk as JBOD for security backup (copy of monthly backup). The 5th disk is used as replaceable drive and will be switched every month.
There are four disks which will be used one after the other for this backup.
All of them are the same type and size and all are created as JBOD RAID with the same name.
But always I remove the disk and plug in another the RAID says damaged. Only when I restart the Thecus the new disk works properly as RAID.-
Is there any possibility to avoid this issue?

    Dear Sir,

The NAS hot swap design for HDD degrade replacement and rebuilding mainly, since we create a JBOD/RAID on the NAS, and system would checking/sync the JBOD/RAID status continuously, thus we won't recommend such opeation, and worry about such operation would make the file system damaged easily.
