    N5200Pro PSU

    H All

    Had one of these a few months and psu died - anyone else had problems?

    Hi Mike,

    yep, seems to be a known prob with the PSU.
    Take a look at Thecus Forum and search for "power" (see links below), so you'll find some entries (by the way: I'm having trouble with it myself at the moment, too)!

    If the power psu out of order already, please contact with your Thecus reseller/distributor for RMA/replacement servie directly.

    eibling - thanks for your info - hope you get your problems sorted. I had to use a std psu after mine died to get some data off the unit.

    Yvon - thanks for your reply - I have had my unit replaced by SCAN under warranty, but am not looking forward to when the Warranty expires! If there is a fault with these PSU units I would like to think Thecus would help even after the first 12 months.

    check the warranty should be longer than 12 months, dont worry past that as Libya are building a nuclear power station no Nas's in heaven just SAN
