    N5200Pro Folder question

OK, I'm new to this NAS stuff, so this is probably a stupid question.

I have set up my RAID to allocate 90% to iSCSI and 10% to the Master RAID volume (data). I've been able to set up the iSCSI volume with no problems. My question is in regards to the Master RAID volume. If I understand correctly I need to set up a folder to be able to access the Master RAID volume from my PC.

So, I went to "folders" and created a folder and was surprised that it allows me to enter any number I want for the Share folder limit. Why would it allow me to share more than the size available? If it has no relationship to the available space why is the purpose? Also, am I correct that the folders are only applicable to the "non-iSCSI" volume?

    Thanks, Vic

    Dear Sir,

The "Share Folder Limit" just a number for system to limite this foler's volume only, system just check the folder'data over this number or not.
iSCSI and RAID data volume included with the RAID, but it is indepence volume and these config for RAID data volume using.
